Finally back in the Braintree office after the whirlwind HIMSS Conference in Orlando.  Three and one half days (and nights!) of absolute frenetic activity. What a day!  The second day of HIMSS seemed to have aligned with the four pillars of Summit Healthcare; work hard, remain active, embrace opportunity and have fun.

Much like the first day, the conversations were multi-faceted. The two most common topics continued to be around CCD/CDA/HISP & bi-directional integration with the physician practices.  As MU Stage 2 is just around the corner and the “Transition of Care” requirement becoming a sharp reality, lots of attendees made it a priority to educate themselves and find a solution... Yesterday was the first day at HIMSS, and was filled with lots of great conversations.  It is always great to see old friends and make new ones. The topic on everyone’s lips seems to be  around CCD and integrating with their HIE.

As we all know it is important part to each hospitals infrastructure. Summit is helping bridge that gap with our new Care Exchange product.
